Recorder Lessons in Bristol

If you live in the West Country, you can have lessons with me at my teaching room in central Bristol. I give recorder lessons in Bristol both as 1:1s and to small groups.

Location

Lessons are held in my home teaching room in central Bristol (BS1). I am a short walk from Bristol Temple Meads railway station, and five minutes’ walk from all major bus routes. There is on-street (metered) parking and a number of public car parks a short walk away, and I have a bicycle rack outside my building.

Jen's teaching room. She gives recorder lessons in Bristol. There is an organ, a sofa, a music stand, and a window with plenty of natural light.
This is my teaching room. As you can see, there is plenty of space to move and play.

Why choose in-person lessons?

While most of my students choose to study online, some do prefer to come to have their recorder lessons in Bristol at my teaching room. Some like the atmosphere; others enjoy the sense of occasion of traveling to lessons. All enjoy the sense of concentration and focus that can happen when two people are working on music together.

Also, if you’re interested in duets, being in the room with me makes it easier to play together!
